{ Jerilynn’s Beach Maternity Session }
I love Leo Carrillo Beach in Malibu because of the variety of landscape in one area. The grassy fields, flowers, trees, cliffs and beach make the perfect backdrop for a portrait session. Jerilynn and Ryan and I had a great time exploring the landscape while documenting her beautiful pregnancy. Then we all got a little wet at the end! OK, really wet! Here are some of my favorites from this natural and romantic outdoor maternity session at the beach in Malibu.
{ Holden Le ~ Newborn }
Lesli and Nam are clients of mine from 2008. They flew in from Denver for the weekend and made time to come see me for a session with Holden! Unfortunately Holden’s first weekend of air travel and family visits combined with a photo session, was not very appealing to him! He was very upset for most of our session, but we did manage to get some good shots! Here are a few of my favorites…

{ Liesa ~ Maternity Session }
Liesa and Sean came here last weekend do do an indoor studio maternity session. After having three girls, Liesa is due for a boy and I was honored to capture this for her. We had so much fun incorporating some rock n’ roll, sweetness and a little sexy into our session. Sean was very actively involved with some great ideas too! I had a great time doing this session and I think we got some wonderful variety in the images. I think it is important to help mommies to be feel pretty during this time, especially towards the end and I hope I could give Liesa a view of what a beautiful mommy she is. { Holden Le ~ Sneak Peek }
Lesli and Nam came to see me today to do some portraits of their handsome little one month old boy. Although Holden was really not happy about this portrait session idea, I managed to get some really special shots that I am so pleased with and couldn’t wait to share at least one! I should have more up in the next couple days!
{Kayla + Maya ~ Portraits }
Quite the stylish pair, these two cousins were so much fun to work with. Their moms brought the cutest outfits and I had so much fun shooting this session. We met at a park near Pasadena and I was so excited to find the little white picket fence there to work with. I love using furniture outside and the moms had the same idea which was perfect! I hope the girls families love these as much as I do!

{ Aidan + Amy ~ Portraits }
I met Aidan and Amy and their parents at Griffith Park’s Travel Town yesterday afternoon for our session. I just love trains and so do the kids so it was perfect. After a little warming up, it was so great to see the personality of these two little angels come out. The fluffy yellow flowers, colorful trains and the afternoon light made for a really great session. Thank you Jazel and Raoul for having me photograph your adorable children.

{ Baby Lisa ~ Portraits }
Christina and Dave are one of my 2007 wedding clients and they now have an adorable 7 month old baby girl, Lisa. We met in Marina Del Rey yesterday at a park and found a shady corner with a white brick wall. It was a great little spot. Lisa was so good and very happy most of the time! Her cute little outfits and colorful blankets made for great compositions and her personality was so much fun to capture. Thanks Christina, Dave and Lisa! I hope you and your families love the images
